Dr Dan is a highly experienced General Practitioner who graduated from the University of Colombo in 2009. He gained valuable frontline experience working in emergency departments across Singapore and Australia before commencing general practice in 2017.
In 2022, Dr Dan obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), demonstrating his commitment to high-quality, evidence-based medical care.
Dr Dan has special interests in chronic disease management, including diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and other long-term conditions. He also provides care in men’s health, weight loss management, minor surgical procedures, and travel medicine, including Yellow Fever vaccination. He also offers medical cannabis consultations where clinically appropriate.
Dr Dan is known for his friendly, calm, and patient-centred approach, taking the time to understand each patient’s concerns and tailor care to their individual needs.
Outside of work, Dr Dan lives locally and enjoys playing cricket, landscape photography, and travelling. He has visited over 45 countries, which complements his interest in travel health and global medicine.
