This is Marian Salib, pharmacist diabetes educator.
Providing diabetes education services is my greatest passion, enabling me to empower people with diabetes with the right knowledge and skills to be able to control their health condition. I help my clients understand what diabetes is, how healthy eating and behavioural changes can assist in diabetes management and with understanding the mechanism of actions of their medications and expected outcomes.
Home medication reviews are also provided to eligible patients to optimise use of their medicines, address their main concerns aiming at maximising clinical benefit and outcomes based on latest evidence and guidelines.
My educational background includes a graduation certificate in diabetes education (2021), a home medication review accreditation (2017) and a Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy (2012).
